SS Wayfarer.

This merchant ship belonged to the Harrison line, based in Liverpool. My grandfather was its Chief Engineer and responsible for everything below deck. He travelled to countries all over the world in an era when few people ventured abroad.

My mother has been going through old photos and this was among the latest album she has unearthed. It was taken in Galveston, Texas just before it was about to start its journey back to Liverpool.
