South fork Nooksack - Larsons reach

Well the log reinforced riffles made it through a winter of high flows and appear to be working great. They have all racked a significant (6-10ft high) amount of natural and mobile wood that has magnified their backwater effect. This has caused lots of bed aggradation and floodplain connectivity in less that one year. Great to see things making an impact!
