This England

Somehow I felt I needed a patriotic quote for my title and Shakespeare's (from King Richard II) seemed to fit quite well.

A day of bits and pieces for me but I popped out in the afternoon and stopped off at Ashcombe Church. I've been wanting a distant shot of the church here but I don't fancy the trespassing involved in getting it from down the hill, so today I walked up the hill past the church and found a gate that looked like someone didn't want me in there. Obviously, I hopped over it and got this shot down the valley. The distant fields are the ones I blipped on 3rd May and I think they lighten the view, although maybe they aren't so traditional.

Out for an extra rehearsal tonight then tomorrow I'm off on a little trip.
