For waiting...

... at the 'wayside'- this week's theme for Mono Monday - a bus shelter. I particularly liked the shadow patterns in the bright sunlight, to say nothing of the irregular patterns of resurfacing patches on the pavement.

I was set to offer a slightly 'cooler' subject, also by the wayside -  see the abandoned household item which has been in this position for about a month, presumably awaiting the refuse fairies to carry it off.
