Ilex?

My very limited horticultural knowledge means that for me each foray into the garden is an adventure, never knowing what I'm going to find or what it's name is when I do find it.
This bush is growing prolifically along the fence, and is in definite need of a trim. From my Google researches, I'm reasonably sure it's an ilex - but any additional info' or thoughts are welcomed!
