I'm quite used to Colchicums disappearing and sending up their seed pods atop their leaves, but I've never seen this before.
I'd have taken it as the norm if they'd all been alike, but these are the only three I saw.
I'm in the midst of de-grassing a few clumps in the "Heap" and none of the rest look like Larry, Curly & Moe here. I think, "asbestos" I remember they're about where the tricolours were.
