Another surprise

I was standing on the porch, taking photos of the goose family (see extra) and this hummingbird perched on the kiwi vine right in front of me. I slowly lowered my camera and starting taking photos of him. My father told me that the hummingbirds get to know us, and I think I believe him. 

Mr M is still working day shift. I packed up Riley and drove to visit my parents today - there was a wine tasting event planned at their retirement place. My sister and her husband came also. We had a lovely visit and everyone enjoyed the wine. I drove through a variety of weather conditions on the way home - sunshine, snow, and rain.
