The Emerald Isle....

.....is calling us. So we booked flights.

Another Sunday at the house working hard. We did have a relaxed start as Claire's Aunty and Uncle were stopping over, a nice breakfast and chat got us nicely prepared for the labour ahead of us.

Claire did another coat on the front window lintel and sill, while I had a major clean up in the three bedrooms and living room, I filled the skip with contents which were in the back garden and prepped the living room for the plasterboards.

We rewarded ourselves on the evening with a scrumptious steak at Miller & Carter so we could finally spend the gift card Claire's lovely sister bought us for Christmas - Thanks Gem.

We then discussed planning and options for our trip to Ireland. We shouldn't really be having another holiday with all the renovation work going on but as the kids say YOLO.

Another weekend evaporated into the ether, hope yours was a good one.
