Pop Up Shop Day
Today was a pop up shop day - transporting loads of fabric and sewing 'essentials' to Boston Spa village hall.
In a well rehearsed operation we can transport and set up in about 90 minutes - and we opened at 10 - just before I took this shot. We always set up a little 'cafe' area - and sell tea / coffee and cakes - a couple of volunteers help with that and proceeds are for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
This was the only chance I got of a photo today. It is a 7 shot panorama - merged in Lightroom. If you look to the bottom right it has got a bit confused with one of the quilt displays and missed a bit out somewhere along the way. Still it is not a bad - just taken with a little compact camera that shoots jpegs only.
Trade was a bit slow at times but we managed a reasonable turnover at the end of day.
Knocking down and transporting home takes about the same as setting up but then we have to stack everything back on shelves - another hour or two of grunt work.
No cooking - tea was chinese takeaway! Washed down with a couple of beers and then an early night
