tricking ourselves about summer

So here is the thing, I don't cope very well when I know that the sun is shinning only about twenty miles south of where we live! Especially when the sun don't shine so much anymore round here.

So I pour over my weather app, trying to find the nearest place that I can drive to, a place to experience a bit of blue and a bit of yellow.

And so we travelled but not quite enough. There was still grey and the sun cream stayed in the bag BUT we had ice cream, outside, with no pitter patter of rain.

It was good enough!
