Oysters on the bay

We caught the seaside bug after our trip to Millport last weekend so decided to head off to the west coast again this weekend. The promised sunshine never really materialised but it did stay dry so we still hopped on the ferry to Rothesay.

Rothesay is a bit more run down and less touristy than Millport but we still had a nice day. We had some chips at Zavaronis, a wander along the seafront, ice creams and visited Rothesay Castle. We also saw Waverley again, LH is very taken with it! In this photo you can see the Cowal peninsula in the background.

We came home, met some friends for drinks which turned into a big Indian meal then one for the road. All in all a good day.
