Evacuation

I was taking mother in law round our local shopping centre. We had just placed most of the groceries shopping on the conveyer belt when the fire alarm went off.

When the "this is an emergency: please evacuate the building" announcement came all we all trooped out and waited for some time while all the various checks were made. ( the fire brigade arrived very quickly).

This was a view in the windows of us waiting. Added to an already very busy day. No time to see the Flying Scotsman unfortunately. The extra is of some of the Sunday School with their Pentecost headgear.
