New sprocket, and old sprocket. Finally got around to changing it, and the stretched-to-the-limit chain. Previously replaced a couple of years ago, but not used until the older steed's forks changed their shape, with the help of a pedestrian... one that didn't use the Green Cross Code.
Test run tomorrow, on the cycle to work, along with a pair of new rear brake blocks fitted too. Of course whilst tinkering about fixing all of the aforementioned, and foolishly thinking that'll be it for a while, discover there's a fair amount of play in the bottom bracket bearings. Oh great, more stuff needing attention. And I should get the finger out and sort at least one of the other two former "transport" (as opposed to training/event) bikes. Suppose it would make a change from too much playing with different cameras and lenses.
