Cousins

What a fun day!  We drove to son Tom and Kristin's house for an absolutely delicious brunch, and had several wonderful hours of grandchild-admiring.  Younger son Evan and Chelsea drove down from Vermont, so we had both Elliott and his cousin Nora to entertain us.  It was a full house -- all three of our boys were there, as well as Mr. W's sister and father who has flown up from Florida for a week or so.  Add to the mix Tom's dog Duchess and our two dogs BB and Mabel, and you can imagine the chaos!

Here's a collage of the two stars of the day.  Nora borrowed Elliott's high chair, so E. was manfully trying to reach all the corners of his plate from a "big boy" chair.  (You might notice the bandages on Elliott's fingers ... he reached up and touched the barbecue grill a few days ago, after being warned not to because it was HOT.  Poor little guy now has blisters which he calls "finger bubbles.")  After lunch, the two played really nicely together, and shared hugs as well as Elliott's chair.  They are both so dear.  (I know ... I'm biased!)
