Pile of Eccles cakes

Lie in this morning after the whisky tasting last night. Looking back it was a bit of a disappointment. The whisky wasn’t anything special and the person running it from Royal Mile Whisky’s waffled on a bit without every getting to the point. Unfortunately there wasn’t anyone to talk about the chocolate or how the whisky had been paired with it. Still always nice to have a look around Mary Kings Close. Took Kilda to Cammo for a walk and then stopped off to do some shopping. Came back and J spent the afternoon in the garden with Kilda while I finished off the Huntington fidget pie for tea, made the pastry for the Cornish pasties, made the pastry for the bacon and leek quiche, make some Eccles cakes to take to Devon and cooked a few left overs. Took Kilda for a walk before settling down to watch Eurovision for the rest of the night. This week’s theme is piles of stuff so here are a pile of Eccles cakes.
