Victualling alongside Ocean Terminal, the FNS Uusimaa is a Hämeenmaa Class minelayer, named after a gunboat built before the end of the Great War that saw action during the Second World War.

The Uusimaa is due to engage in an annual maritime exercise held in the Baltic Sea region under the command of the Naval Striking and Support Force NATO (STRIKFORNATO).
