Evacuees

Long trip to Old Trafford, only to be evacuated from the ground before kick-off. Long trip for Bournemouth fans I chatted with, and longer still for others: saw a family with two young kids who were saying they'd come from the Faroes, and the head of Sierra Leone's MUFC supporters' club had his once-in-a-lifetime chance to watch a game scuppered. Apparently the he's been found a ticket for next weekend's FA Cup Final.

Wandered back through Salford Quays (extra) and watched the Swansea vs City game in a bar full of United (and Bournemouth) fans: surreal! No joy there, though, as City got the point they needed to keep above us.
