Anacamptis Morio Orchid

Turning out to be a good weekend.

We won Friday night's quiz, Henry's afternoon celebration went well yesterday and my niece, Jessica, is in labour!

We were up early this morning and enjoyed a ramble over Oliver's camp where I photographed this orchid. It's colour is knockout purple! Stunning.   

Home for a quick lunch and then off to the garden centre. We've planted a couple of flowering cherries that Nigel gifted us and planted hanging baskets and tubs.

We have spotted a blue tit nest in a hole in the wall of our house and sparrow nesting below the rafters!

I've been scratched and stung and am now having a break before carrying on...
