What is this? Ankle length trousers and wearing no socks with the best shoes? Firstly, it looked ridiculous (the tailor run out of material) and image the "sweaty" feet smell. I find these dress up/down seemed to be among the more affluent clientele, as indicated by this blip at the airport boarding lounge (well he was travelling first class and get fed gourmet food instead of box sandwiches!).

Finally home in sunny Brisbane and not missing the high humidity one bit and loving the cooler temperature of 18C at 0700 with a top of 24C instead of 30-33C in Singapore/Kuching. I say you must be used to the "wetness and sweatiness". The local seemed quite ok with it and even wearing long sleeves and pants, and hoodies and sweater.
