Pembrokeshire Sunset

After a really lovely drive through Shropshire and the Welsh counties we arrived in at our cottage around 4pm this afternoon. We're staying in a converted cowshed in a small village called Tretio in North Pembrokeshire.

This photo was our second trip out to watch the sunset. We'd already done a short walk to a trig point, where we could get some views over the area.

Our last little walk out from the cottage was around 11pm to see what the night sky was doing. Unfortunately, the moon was quite bright and it wasn't as dark a sky as we'd hoped. But we did manage to identify a few planets, stars and constellations, all with the help of a great star gazing app on my iPad!

A long and tiring day, but we're on holiday, so I think there's a little lie coming on Sunday morning......
