Never a truer word spoken

Picked up my birthday gift from a friend today- locally brewed ale with a very apt name,especially with my current hair style. There's 5 litres of the stuff! Should keep me busy for a while!
Woke feeling reasonably human after a fantastic night. Although, I did question my choices of liquids.
Breakfast out after copious cups of tea with a friend who ditched her plans to drive home amd stayed the night.
Food shopping done before tea with mam and li'l sis, who had a friend stay. She'd rightly earned it with the hard work she put into her SATS all of last week!
