Red Tulip

It is amazing how quickly you settle back into your routine after having been away.  Guests were leaving the Lodge today so it was back into the usual Saturday routine of cleaning.  As nobody was coming in we took things at a casual rate and made time for a bit of gardening.

Blip I am afraid got left until I was home and then it was a desperate walk round the garden looking for inspiration.  This flash of scarlet under the apple tree caught my eye.  This has (or at least probably its ancestors) have been growing there since we moved into the house 34 years ago.
