A rare sight ...

... me on a bike. 

I was supposed to be doing some fundraising but face painting really isn't one of my skills - I could end up being sued by the parents! 

I sneaked off to see one of our friends in the Friends of the Earth tent and got talking to the man next door to them. He had an electric bike on display and said that I could take it for a spin round and round the field. I enjoyed every minute of it and as they do a fold up version, I am seriously considering buying one. You can use them as a ordinary bike but when you fancy a bit of extra power,  especially going up hill, you can get it. 

I went back later and had another go on it.
