Quarr, Blimey
We had a great morning meeting up with the very lovely Doodlebugs and her other half. We met at Quarr Abbey which is a stunning building with surprisingly Moorish influences for Britain. We had tea and cake out in the sunshine while chatting - with the biggest slices of cake you've ever seen. Towards the end we were helped by a very friendly robin who came and stole a crumb or two from the table having stalked us for a while. The abbey was beautiful inside as you can see from the blip. We took a walk down to the sea before it was time to go and catch our ferry back to the mainland. Thank you so much to both of them - it was lovely to meet you and great chatting.
As we came to dock in Southampton, we passed the rather spectacular "Queen Elizabeth" and she was looking great in the sunshine so we've popped a shot in as an extra.
