A Health Check

A lovely day today, better than expected - so we all had a ramble around Lumbutts and Mankinholes (two hamlets above Todmorden).
This is the area where I grew up, and we stopped at Mankinholes Farm to have a chat with this farmer and reminisce a bit :-)
He had herded a group of sheep and lambs into this pen, and was then squeezing amongst them to grab the lambs one by one and check them over.  Medicinal treatment was administered as necessary and the lambs released into the rear pen, to be re-united with Mum a little later. It was quite a noisy operation :-)
If you look very closely amongst the sheep, you will spot a few lambs :-)
