Polesden Lacey

Old friend Joy (blipfoto friend Justenjoy) was looking after Miles, her seven year old grandson and I joined them for a day at Polesden Lacey. We thoroughly explored the garden, finding such excitement as the chickens and the bug hotel, areas not known to me before. Visits are very different in the company of a little boy! Polesden gardens are between seasons, with the roses yet to come into flower. I will be back.

Afterwards we picked up Giles' brother Piers and they came back to my home for a drink and met Coco who so enjoyed the fuss made of her. When I made tea the boys were fascinated by my teapot! They had never seen one before!
