Bag Lady

The contents of my work bag: notebook (notes at the front, To Do list at the back), tissues, purse, keys, blackberry, iPhone and headphones, several pens (just in case), lip gloss, lip balm (weather dictated), Mints and more tissues (also weather dictated and just in case. And a prayer card a colleague recently gave me.

I believe the content of a woman's bag reflects her approach to work. Something I churn over regularly.

Proven scientifically that the bigger bag one uses, the more stuff you will cart around, I try to travel light, compact, simple, clean.

I try to carry the same mentality into my work life; succinct, articulate, neat, punctual, thorough, prepared, contingent.

Being organised and clutter-free in both bag and work style takes time to learn and continually improve but the payoff is huge.
