Where is this, do you think?
There is a slight clue in the title.

It was so hot today I had to go swimming in the sea, which was not so hot.
Bracingly refreshing is a better description. But I did it more than once.

As I write I am surrounded by cows making as much racket as they possibly can and also waiting for the kettle to boil.

It's a very small kettle on a small portable gas burner and the view I shall have whilst drinking my tea is quite beautiful.
