This little rhododendron looked surprised to see me out with a camera at 8am.

Early blip today as we are off to a Ball in Edinburgh tonight - kilts and sporrans and all, and all. 

The venue is Greyfriars Kirk - renowned for its association with the faithful Bobby, but known to me from childhood for the spookiness of its churchyard, full of memorials to stern Presbyterian citizens of long ago. I'm not sure they will approve ...
