May Blossom

A very quick blip - plenty to do today.

If I had to name a favourite flower, it would be this - may blossom. I love hawthorn - the cascading flowers are such a feature of this month, the smell is delicious, the haws are attractive and provide food for the birds, and it reminds me of springs past in so many good places.

So ...... I cannot let May pass without a few pics of my favourite little tree/bush. What's not to like ?
