Michelin starred Le Pigeon Noir
19th century Belgium was known for specially cultivated pigeons for fast flight and long endurance called Voyageurs. And well know for the best pigeons in the world. The restaurant is on the spot where the black pigeons were raised.
Great experience by getting personal service from owner/head chef- Henri who not only explained the menu but practically told us what we could eat. Sitting down with us and sharing historical facts about various regions of Belgium. Entertaining us and directing us.
Of course we had the pigeon noir.
