Brown sauce

We did a lot of clearing in the garden today. Rowan went to the beach with a group of friends, so Murron was a little lost. She helped me saw some branches and enjoyed sorting some of the wood to put aside to season for the wood burner. We walked Brammle together and chatted about her upcoming birthday. She is mulling what to do with her friends and also what she might like to ask for. Birthdays are so special and we agreed that she should savour the build up.

I made some delicious flat breads which we ate with sausages, caramelised onions and the obligatory (for me) brown sauce. It was very simple but incredibly delicious. We were hoping to eat at the beach, but the weather just wasn't warm enough so the kitchen table just had to do.
