"Let them eat cake!"

Eve came with us for a while this afternoon and we baked cakes. Yummy!
These last three days I have been in the jury pool for our local sheriff court. Wednesday, I was not required. Thursday, I was not required. Today, I was required and attended as instructed. A whole gang of potential jurors sat and waited only to be told that a prime witness had done a bunk and a retrial was needed. We were then dismissed with thanks.
Today's extra is MaggieD and James. We all met up for lunch today at Ali's house. Delicious, thank you, Ali.
