This...

.... is how our journey home looks on a Friday. Heavy-ladened pushchair in hand for me, usually with the baby troughing (the kid is an eating machine!) and Katie cycles home. We cycle to school on a Friday as I have to get to work, but it's my half day so I ditch my bike at home on the way back so I can take the baby for my friend. 

They played nicely as I made tea, the baby continued to eat (and paint my walls with her shepherds pie hands) as Katie did clarinet practise. We'd also had a fabulous practise at the piano this morning. She enjoyed the prep for her exam but is loving having lots of new stuff to explore now, including three duets with Mama. One of them is really pretty and we were late leaving for school as we were caught up playing it!
