Germander Speedwell...

.... and friend.

A beautiful day, Himself went off hunter gathering in Bantry and I went off for a walk down to Reenmore, a picnic in my backpack. It was wonderful - birds, bees and a myriad of flowers. I ate cheese and oatcakes down by the sea and paddled - very cold, but Travellersjoy later reported that she had managed a swim!

Back home and I have been tackling gorse. It's brutal stuff and some had to go.

TJ popped in later and stayed for supper. The excitement is mounting as we are all heading to Orkney next weekend. We shall next meet up in Edinburgh!
