Pressure

Continuing last nights theme with the pressure the children are under at exam time.
In the end I told Joshua to stop revising and sleep, this morning I wrote to his form tutor explaining that he hadn't completed his assignment because I told him to. I went on to say that a seven hour school day followed by five hours of homework, coursework and/or revision was unrealistic and unreasonable.
But we have the OFSTED reports and school 'standing' to consider I suppose although I would like to think that it's "pupils first."

Clares on nights so it's a few snatched minutes together in the evening before she leaves.
