Not The Yacoubian Building

Apparently, there isn't an actual Yacoubian Building, despite a building of that name being so vividly brought to life in the novel of the same name by the Egyptian writer, Alaa Aswany. As I've mentioned before the book gives great insights into life here.

Yesterday and today have been dominated by tech issues and their resolution which has included learning how to go into remote corners of my MacBook to uninstall hidden files. Not fun at all especially when there is a work to-do list waiting attention.
