Yellow And Blue

An extended breakfast time today - Jessica stayed overnight and so there was an extra person to feed - and then we had to get her dressed and ready for the day!

We went out to Ripon for some sewing supplies (pop up shop looms on Sunday) and for a coffee. The we drove over to John Lewis in York - to collect some new bedding and take up their free coffee and cake offer!

Although Jessica had been bright and cheerful in the morning, by the time we had finished our (very late) lunch her cough and cold was getting the better of her and she was getting a bit crotchety - so we headed home.

She had a little sleep in the car - but was not well.

Mum and dad came to collect her late afternoon and so I took Finlay out for his walk. This is when I got my blip shot - evening sunshine on the bright yellow rapeseed flowers - had to be done! Had to stand on tiptoe with arms in the air to get the (hidden) tractor lane in the shot. My jacket is covered in yellow pollen now!

Home and it was time to start tea - chicken stuffed with courgette and cheese, baked in the oven on a bed of veg.

So no time to blip! Behind with comments again - may have time on Friday to catch up a bit but will be busy with the shop day prep!
