Manesty Park

The hottest day of the year so far, with the thermometer outside the dining room reading (in direct sunlight) 30 degrees by 8.15 in the morning. So the shelter of the trees was most welcome over the day, and late afternoon, we ventured out of the woods as far as Manesty park (as it's called on the OS map - though Manesty bog would be more appropriate)

The contrast of the spring greens with the russet bog myrtle is a colour combination I always love.
