The Freedom Tower

We went to visit the 911 memorial this morning and my shot features "One World Trade Center". The current building was dubbed the "Freedom Tower" during initial work, and is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan. It is the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere, and the fourth-tallest in the world.

The photos I took at Ground Zero failed to capture the essence of the place, but our visit there was so moving that I wanted to include this shot which I took from the Hudson River.
