Rubber Ducky (Sorry, the Song is Stuck in My Head)

Lots of exciting things at the shoreline when it's a minus tide--starfish, shells, pebbles, tide pools, and baby ducks! Another walker told us there was supposed to be litter (?) of them at the base of the cliffs, and Mr S spotted the group. I counted nine ducklings and a vigilant mama. But ducks aren't ocean going, are they? The shallow water and exposed rocks made lots of comfortable puddles, but the tides are on the rise and it doesn't seem like a safe environment. 

As for Rubber Ducky, we had the Sesame Street album when TreeGuy was just a little shrub, and we'd sing the heck out of all those catchy tunes, morning and night. Sometimes they just come tumbling back out: Rubber Ducky, you're the one
