Arizona deserts have these beautiful but stark mountains that make you wonder what amazing legends and stories have been forgotten over time.
My mother-in-law said that her family believed that as long as someone wrote your name once a year, you would never be forgotten.
I think that applies to legends.
And family stories.
We need to retell them frequently to each generation...and we need to remember. :)
