And not a Turtlapin in sight.
Not that I expected to be so lucky twice.
And besides I did go to see how the swan(s) was/(were) getting on.
On the left - his/her attitude as I hove into view.
On the right - how s/he looked once it became apparent I was no threat to his/her serenity.


Turtlapin ought to satisfy both camps.
