Too many people do this

I don't like the craze for these big headphones. They cut people off. They can't hear the sounds around them. I suppose in some ways I am being selfish as I can't communicate with them. Even if it's only to say 'thank you' if they have moved out of my way.

I jumped on the underground this morning as I had an early meeting. I hated all of the people squashed together. I walked back in the evening.

PS I've seen the big white fish in the pond. The heron did not eat him.
