Day 133 Lily in Flight

Today I picked up Lily from school and she decided to go to the local park on the way home.  On our ambling way to the park we walked past some trees. She looked up wistfully and wished she could climb them.  I boosted her up into the lower branches of one and she spent ages working out how to get around the trunk.  

Further on she found a trunk that was about 5 foot tall. I boosted her on that and she jumped off - here she is in flight. Just before the park she found another tree to climb and another half an hour passed as she carefully climbed around the lower branches. 

She had a wonderful time in the trees, exploring how to climb and learning that she could. At times like this I love being a Granny.
