We went to the local greenhouse to buy some plants. The bird living there was very vocal, and made me jump a few times while we were there, it was so loud. They used to call it Ari, but now it is called something more female, they probably found out recently that it's not a male bird. That was strange, because they had a story like that on the news last night about a parrot who starred in a "Pippi Långstrump" film 40 years ago, but now the Swedes wanted to humanely euthanise the poor bird when a Karlsruhe zoo stepped in and offered it a tree branch. That bird had also been held for male and only recently discovered to be a female. The law of attraction in action!
