Green-veined White
A glorious day to continue our walks by the Tweed, beginning where we left off, at Nashy's Coffee House at Cardrona and walking to Innerleithen - not so far by many standards but good exercise and refreshments at both ends.
Not many photos taken, this of a Green-veined White being chosen to blip if only to correct an error from three years ago, in which I wrongly identified a similar butterfly as a Green Hairstreak (because that's what my knowledgeable companions had called it). I have written an edit on that entry. This is feeding on garlic mustard, Alliara petiolata (or Jack-by-the-hedge). Apart from a Tortoiseshell it was the only butterfly seen.
