Handstand

It took me over 10 minutes to successfully get up upside-down for this shot, and only about 15 seconds before I had to come back down again. Kudos to my photographer, nailed the shot in one attempt!

Since I'd been going to the gym a little more seriously lately everything hurts, feels tight and exhausted. So after an already rigorous beginning in class when teacher says this is what we're attempting, I know my body just won't manage it today. True enough.

Managed to complete the thousand forms necessary to process a claim for a recent trip at work. Took me 3 days to complete! Popular opinion at work has it that they deliberately make it a hassle to put people off of processing their claims. Diabolical.

Heard good news today that a former classmate is getting married (shocked, kept it super down low) while yet another is opening her own firm. One-third life crisis immediately struck! Discussed that with a colleague/former lecturer of mine leading to griping over Indian culture and subcultures, independent unmarried persons and their challenges (in both getting married and avoiding marriage), boring Game of Thrones and Downton Abbey. This was done at the car park all through lunch break, instead of getting lunch. Need to find a way to socialise with colleagues without eating into my productivity. Or my eating time.
