6 years ago today we left England to move here. That morning going to the airport with windychickens will be etched on my memory forever!

Today we visited refugees from Syria (Kobane). They live in a village full to bursting with refugees- it has totally transformed the village as they have taken over all the unfinished buildings. It was strange chatting to her relatives on whatsapp in Kobane and Lebanon.

Today a neighbour asked me to make 2 more cakes (that's 6 in the past 2 weeks for her). It nearly sent me over the edge (I wish I could learn to say no)- and made me REALLY excited about coming back to England for the summer with no neighbours demanding cakes!
