Dangling their delicate, not so private parts
For all to see, these Turks Cap Lilies
Shiver with success. They made it through.
Now the wind helps them dance in delight,
Exhilarated: they've overcome
The drought, the drenching and the depredations
Of the dreaded red lily beetle. Dance on!
